I see great truth in these lines “Life is what you
make it” because it is truly in our hands to give our life any shape. However,
sometimes we get unexpected shocks in life which changes us totally. Life is a
great teacher but its way of teaching is very hard. We learn importance of many
things very late in life when we mostly do not have them. “Life is what you
make it” is also an interesting story of a young woman who faces unexpected
emotional traumas in life.
The first good thing about this book is great clarity
with which it is written. As you read this book a desire to read it fast
occupies your mind. You just want to finish this book fast; however, I will
suggest reading this book in slow speed and imagine about characters of book.
This book very deeply highlights struggles faced by today’s young women from
middle class families. How they are still struggling with love, emotions,
carrier and family pressure.
This book is already a National bestseller which
already means lot. Preeti Shenoy has very simple style of writing; therefore,
anyone can easily understand what she wants to say. As you read this book, you
get more and more involved with it because it makes you to think on numbers of
matters. In this book, you can find many twists and turns which makes it an
interesting book to read. This book can be a good read for men who want to see
how women world look from inside. Life is what we make it tells us to not
surrender to difficulties in life and finally come out as winners. I totally
enjoyed reading this book and I will get it 8 out of 10 rating.
